Great hotel

The hotel has a great retro feel and look about it, the staff were all corteous and responsive.
The rooms are well furnished and were clean, the only negative comment for the room would be that the lighting could be better.
Bar well stocked.
Ate breakfast at the hotel whic was excellent except for the scrambled and fried eggs which looked unappetising.
Overall a good hotel to stay in and to eat at.

I had booked a room here as it was adjacent to where i was having my 50th birthday celebration. I had booked a suite when I booked on line but it wasn't clear whther it was available. when I arrived at the Hotel I enquired about the suite and I was told the Hotel was full as there were 2 Wedding parties.

I understand the Hotel can be full but I assume someone ws staying in the suite ?

I think you need to make it clearer when booking on line if this available or not , surely it is first come first served ?

This was my only disaapointment about the stay.

Faulty towers

Platinum ihg member. Hotel unable to find my reservation. Poor service and attitude from the front of house team. Room had broken safe, telephone and AIr-con was not working. Poor nights sleep. On a plus you can use the David Llloyd leisure facilities. Best part of the stay was leaving the Crowne Plaza Liverpool Airport hotel.
