Overall, the stay at the Crowne Plaza was good. The bathroom was short a couple of towels but the Front Desk took care of that once we let them know. You'd like to not have to do that but it's not that big of a deal. The room was good and well-equipped. The big problem came when it was time to check out. Because we were going on a cruise vacation, we had a ton of luggage. We called to have a bellman help us get out luggage down to the Lobby and were told that it would be 15 minutes because they were all tied up. We were okay with that and said we'd wait. Well, we waited, and waited, and waited some more. After 20 minutes, we tried calling again - no answer. After 25 minutes, we gave up and schlepped our luggage down to the Lobby. When we checked out, we mentioned what happened. The person told us that all their staff were tied up with shuttling people to the cruise ship terminal and that is why no one came to help us. Sounds like the hotel was making their problem, my problem. I'll give them another try in the future because it is a convenient location but they are pressing their luck.

Staff was above some other hotels we stayed in the past
3 months. The service at the restaurant for breakfast, even if it was
complimentary, was the best in a long time.

I reserved online for two rooms with 2 people in each room. I was charged for 4 people in each room ($80 extra). I did not look over the paperwork on arrival because it was very late at night. It took a lot of arguing to get the invoice changed. They kept saying that I signed for the rate on arrival. The room was fairly nice, rather plain, but I was bothered by the floor slanting down toward the bathroom. It was unnerving, as was the old, slow elevator. You had to push the elevator buttons two or three times to get it to react.
Also, it was necessary to switch elevators to get to the parking garage which was rather inconvenient. The beds were comfortable and the shower had adequate hot water.
