Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Extremely disappointed to find out at check inn that both the pool and hot tub was closed. Would have been nice to have known that when I made the reservation or when I confirmed it. Voiced my displeasure when I checked in and was not offered any consideration at all other than to go swim at the high school. Stayed away from the hotel the entire day. When I finally arrived back at the hotel and actually arrived at my room the temp inside the room had to 90 degrees. Never was able to regulate the temperature. The thermostat rotated 360 degrees with no stopping. The room was either 90 degrees or 60 degrees. Miserable nights sleep. My hope is that the location is 100% functional when my daughter gets married in May. Otherwise I should look elsewhere for a block of rooms. February 26, 2014

The dining is great and the relaxing bar atmosphere is a treat! It's also a treat being on the water and watching the wild life roam. Hats off to April, Heather, Jeffery, and several others that make this a stay that I would highly recommend.. February 4, 2014

Those of us who are frequent travelers - not so much. No room upgrade, pillows were hard (and odd shaped), no newspaper at room door in morning and noisy. January 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our perfect Christmas Holiday in sub below temps! The hotel worked perfectly for us as our family lives in the condos just a few doors down the way. The walk was about 3 to 4 minutes .The staff was pleasant and friendly and satisfied all our needs upon request. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the housekeeping staff were prompt and efficient everyday making our stay a true vacation from everyday life. We would not hesitate to book another stay in your hotel but would love to see the Grand River in sunshine vs frozen solid!! January 9, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by This was our first stay and most likely the last at this hotel. The visit started bad when I arrived to find out that the first floor king I requested that allowed pets was not available and would have to settle on two beds. This being out first time to visit a hotel with our pet so we were limited on choices. We ask the front desk for any guidance they could give us about rooming without pet and I guess the guy was new because all he could tell us was where the dog walk area was and to leave a phone number if we felt the pet in the room. Things got worse when we went to the pool to find the water colder than expected, with no towels available and a freezing breezeway to travel through to get back to the room. Then the bill came and it was lower that expected, but of course it was wrong and I was changed much more on my debit card that the bill listed which almost caused bank overdraft charges and did not receive any credit with IHG Rewards Club for my stay plus the bonus points I originally paid for. So as a result my wife and my self were not impressed with this property at all. December 30, 2013

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very wonderful and helpful. The special attention given by the manager was very much appreciated. I will be staying there again for my future travels.
