Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Very small rooms, was not impressed
For the money, we expected the Holiday Inn to be much more inviting and luxurious. We were disappointed in the size of the rooms. Very cramped. Also, the bathroom toilet had blood on the seat. Disgusting! Also, the air conditioner was right next to the bed and was blowing directly on my son all night. He was freezing. But when we turned the air down, everyone else was hot. Not very well set up for a comfortable night sleep. The only thing we enjoyed about our stay was the pool/hot tub, which was a nice area. Also, we enjoyed walking around the marina (behind the hotel) and looking at the boats. I definitely would not stay at this hotel again!

This is a wonderful hotel to use for leisure and business. The staff and surrounding area is wonderful. I would suggest that they invest in QUEEN Size beds instead of DOUBLE Size beds. Other than that, a fabulous stay, as always.

Love the Spring Lake/Grand Haven area. Great hotel with lots of amenities. We were able to park our truck and walk or bike to plenty of fun activities.

Spring Lake is a delightful area, just the place for a quick get away. Close to several incredible Lake Michigan beaches, the Holiday Inn has an indoor pool and whirlpool as well as a large outdoor pool with an inviting deck and a patio with food, drinks and live entertainment. The hotel is surrounded by a marina and miles of scenic bike paths. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although the hotel is right off the highway, you feel like you are miles away from the daily grind. The staff are friendly and eager to please. Last summer when we visited, our sleep was interrupted by a faulty sprinkler system. The hotel did their best to rectify the situation and invited us back as their guest for another night. It was refreshing to find a place that honestly accepted blame for any problems and immediately sought to make amends.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Christine411 Comfortable bed & pillows but rude front desk attendant.
Our room was clean and the pillows were awesome! Two of the ladies at the front desk acted irritated when asked questions. It was like they just didn't want to do the job they showed up for. In contrast, there were 2 other ladies up front that we talked with during our stay that were fantastic.
We had the buffet breakfast in Jack's and it was terrible. The eggs were supposed to be scrambled but they had sat for so long they were just horrible. And the sausage... not sure where they got it but never tasted anything so bad. BUT the service was wonderful. Everyone in the restaurant was attentive and had a smile on.
