IHG Army Hotels believes in supporting military personnel and their families in all they do, whether they are a guest in one of our hotels or not. That’s why we partner and support various charities, organizations and programs that offer help, guidance and resources to Soldiers and their Families who are in need. Below are just a few of the organizations with which we have relationships.
The goal of the Fisher House program is to support America’s military and their families in time of need. Fisher House provides a home away from home for families of wounded Soldiers recovering in nearby military hospitals. These efforts are very much aligned with IHG Army Hotels’s goal of providing quality lodging and service for our country’s service men and women while away from home. In an effort to support this spirit, Fisher House has become the official beneficiary of IHG Army Hotels’ fundraising efforts at a local and corporate level.
IHG Army Hotels is proud to support No Barriers USA and the Soldiers to Summits program. No Barriers is a non-profit organization that helps wounded service members and veterans cope with service-related disabilities – like amputations, blindness, traumatic brain injuries and Post Traumatic Stress. Their work serves and supports these heroes through their rehabilitation process and helps them overcome their personal challenges through training, support and experiences. Soldiers to Summits uses mountain climbing as a metaphor and a training ground to help these brave men and women harness their challenges and regain their footing in their new life. The mountain based training grounds help stretch goals, build teams, innovate through adversity and give participants the opportunity to once again lead and serve others.
