Please be informed not all rooms here are created equal.
We stayed for 4 nights. We were working remotely on this trip so the suite room was necessary. This hotel needs more work. I can tell they are trying to upgrade but there is some shotty work. A lot has been replaced already. New energy efficient thermostat. Fresh paint, some new furniture and surfaces. The idea is great and functional options. The sheets and bed were suitable and soft. Some of the towels were new and some were NOT. Some of the furniture was broken and worn with Stains. The sheets were soft but ours were stained. Ripped towels. Have to get own housekeeping things. The drapes were disgusting. They tried to change the hvac but its a joke the way they did it. The toilet seat slide and after they tightened it, still, must be stripped.
The WORST part was the shower. It was very tight, the shower head was old and the curtain was so thin it attacked while you shower. There was NO room in the shower to clean without touching the wall or curtain ( ew) Water was everywhere afterwards. Just a very poor design.
There was so much paint on doors (covering I'm sure) that they stick.
It served its purpose and wasn't too gross so I say solid 3. The people are interesting but nice.
For sure not luxury, maybe someday, but nice I guess. This was our room, I can't vouch for others. They have surely broken walls of an old hotel to make suites and that can be a challenge.
Pleasantly surprised

We booked the rooms in order to attend a family wake and funeral. We had no idea what our experience would be as the decision needed to be made quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and the comfort of all 3 rooms that were booked. The cleanliness was outstanding and the flexibility and easy going nature of the staff was welcomed. There was no problem when myself and another family member decided to stay an extra day instead of making the long trip home in the evening. We were professionally and quickly accommodated without having to make a move. I will stay at this location again if needed without hesitation.

Comfortable room...Large and clean. The lady at the front desk.. sorry, didnt get name.... She NEEDS to be the face of this hotel!!! She was easily the most friendly, outgoing, and personable manager EVER!!! I felt so welcome from the minute I walked in!!!!

I called a week and a half earlier to ask that my frien'd name be added to the reservation so that he could check in without a problem. The girl acted as if she had done that and it would be no problem. I called again a few hours before check in to confirm that his name was in fact on the reservation. This time the girl had no idea what i was talking about so handed me off to a "manager". She informed that he was not listed on the reservation like I was originally told and that she would need to send me a credit card authorization form to print out, sign, rescan, and send back to them. That may have been fine when I called the week and a half before, but without any more advance notice I was not anywhere near a printer and could not do such a thing. Her exact words - "That's not my problem!" and she offered no solutions. I had to drive an hour out of my way to the hotel just to check in for my friend so he could get into his room. This is all absurd considering I booked the room through mu IHG account and all they had to do was use the method of payment they already had on my account which i use every time. also, they told me the free upgrade for being a platinum elite was not available to me because they were sold out- just to be nasty. It was a sunday overnight to a monday. I could tell she was lying as there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. Additionally - the lobby is a dump! the ceiling tiles above the check in desk were disgusting and the entire area was filthy. I can't say I will never stay with an IHG hotel again, but I can say I will always look at the 2 other competitors properties first and definitely will not stay at this specific hotel.
