In the winter try out one of three Alpine Ski slopes or the Birch Hill Nordic Ski Complex, to enjoy some time outside.

Tips

Bring clothes for three seasons. It gets into the upper 70s to 80s in the summer. If you plan on being outdoors, rain gear is a plus and you will need bug spray in the summer as the mosquitos are plentiful. In the winter it can get as cold as -50F. It is a dry cold and you will want to dress in layers. Staying active in the outdoors is not too hard if your wear the right clothes.
