Maude Cobb Convention Center

The Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex encompasses the Maude Cobb Convention Center, Longview Exhibit Building, PRCA approved Rodeo Arena, Agricultural Pavilion and Fairgrounds, providing a multi-purpose complex suitable for a variety of activities and events. A joint project of the Longview Chamber of Commerce and the City of Longview, Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex was built and furnished debt free with money from the hotel/motel occupancy fund and personal contributions.

Lear Park is a 150 acre complex that includes a outdoor sports facility with basketball, volleyball, baseball and soccer areas, along with hiking trails and picnic areas. The Kidsview playground on the site is a large jungle gym area with elaborate setups. park includes the W.G. "Bill" Lear Sports Complex, walking trails, ponds and a family recreation/gathering area. The Sports Complex includes soccer fields for all ages, baseball fields, and sand volleyball courts and girls softball fields.
