Great stay, every time

Every time I have work in the Portland area I stay at Candlewood. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are well maintained. The amenities are good, with the gym that is very clean, and free laundry. Also they have the cupboard where you can borrow different things, like toaster ovens and air fryers. 10/10 would recommend!

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They had a unique little lending area where guests could check out items, offered family games- yes actual board games :), onsite laundry and off course the inroom kitchenettes. The hotel is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. There was ample free parking and they offered shuttle service to the airport.

My intention was to just spend one night, close to the PDX airport.
The location was perfect, the staff be very attentive, the room was immaculate. They had enough utensils to cook a light meal, if that’s what you want.
I will comeback to that hotel again.

It was okay! We stayed for four nights. Really close from lot of places, friendly staff and overall clean. The only issue is that water was leaking, we called front desk and they never fixed it!!

This hotel stay was stellar. Really friendly reception. The rooms were clean, well stocked with things to cook with. The appliances (stove, full sized fridge, microwave) were such an amazing bonus. Bed was really comfy and the pillows were nice and fluffy. Great bathroom too. Overall, I’d stay here any time I’m in the area and need lodging.

My wife and I were arriving at the Candlewood Suites seperately; she from a flight and my daughters and I from the road. She arrived much earlier than I did and the room was on my card but the desk was able to make arrangements with me over the phone prior to check-in.
The room was dark and with exception of the airplanes taking off and landing at PDX, it was reasonably and acceptably quite.
I wish that we had the option for breakfast but the room had a kitchen so - if had I thought of it, I would have used that as an option.
Our choice when in Portland.

Staff were very helpful! Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Location is great, near shopping and restaurants. Laundry and fitness areas great!

My experience at the hotel was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the fact that it had a kitchen equipped with utensils and cooking appliances. This feature added a lot of convenience to my stay. The room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The check in experience was too drawn out and was not necessary. I am an IHG member and this was the worst check in for any IHG property. The rooms were great and the value was good.
Close to airport + shuttle!

This hotel was clean, close to the airport, has a shuttle, kitchenette, and friendly staff! Parking spaces are a bit on the smaller side but overall felt safe and able to relax here
