Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I love this Hotel We stay here whenever we are up from Texas and it is great, this time due to illness we had to stay over longer, I love it but hallway noise can be bad. Guests who are inconsiderate. I don't like that I have to exchange my own towels, I believe that if you have a tag for the door they should at least bring them to you. I would not hesitate to stay here again, or recommend the hotel. The front desk staff are very good. January 8, 2014

One thing we have noticed is inconsistency in price, the price seems to vary $20-$35.00 a stay for the same nights. This last time we had a standard queen room and the cost was more than a few weeks ago for a King Suite. When we checked in I wasn't feeling well and my husband had an early meeting the front desk clerk was very accomadating in allowing for a 1:00 checkout, my husband was back by noon so it allowed plently of time. Room was quiet, clean and spacious. The only issue we have had with the hotel is the lack of ice, the front desk clerk has always given out ice but that isnt always convient, an ice machine would be a nice touch On our next stay when booking the room I may ask for the freezer ice machine to be turned on before we arrive. We will be back in the future. December 17, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel But Had Some Problems Let me start off by saying our overall stay, after overcoming the problems and being made aware of hotel policies, was fantastic. First, I had reserved a room online through their actual website (not some third party one). We arrive to find that they had given away our room to ANOTHER GREG! And they had some trouble getting us a key since my "profile" was already "checked in", even though it wasn't me. The staff behind the counter handled the situation great though. They gave a discount and remedied the situation within an hour. No problem with that :#. However! They failed to tell us about the hotel policy regarding room service. We were not made aware that they would not be changing/cleaning our sheets and towels after every night #like EVERY OTHER hotel does!#. That is something extremely important to make sure the guest knows as that is something unique to this specific hotel. What even makes it worse is the fact when we woke up the next morning after our first night we told the staff at the front desk to make sure they clean our sheets #we are kind of germ-a-phobes#. You would be a little upset too if you came back to your room 11PM at night wanting to take a quick shower and jump into bed only to find your room exactly the way you left it! Again, after we were made aware of this we were perfectly fine but it would have been great if we were made aware of it before hand. Other than the above, we had a fantastic stay! No noisy neighbors, the front desk was nice and polite. The hotel was completely spotless. And probably the most important detail was they do NOT use cheap towels. Nothing annoys me more than to go to a hotel where you use their towels and find a bunch of lint coming off the towel and onto your face. November 2, 2013

The suite was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and very clean! The bed was very comfortable. We liked having the Candlewood Cupboard in the lobby for late night snacks. Everything about our stay was excellent and will definitely be staying here for the future! October 9, 2013

By far the best staff and most hospitable crew I have EVER experienced. I travel a lot and everyone here made us feel welcome and they appreciated our business. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is quiet and great location close to shopping and great restaurants. It is quiet and the grounds are well lit....really is a great place to stay. I will be back for sure, it was our first experience at a Candlewood. I have stayed many times in St Jo and there is not a place I have ever stayed in there that can compare!! Great value as well...I highly recomend this faciltty October 1, 2013
