Not a great stay

I stayed 2 weeks at this hotel to attend training for work. 2 incidents lead me to give a poor review for this property. First, a water leak in my ceiling tripped my fire alarm at 3am. I was told I have to turn it off and that no one was available to address. I had to disarm a hard-wired alarm surrounded by water just to get back to sleep and not disturb the entire floor any longer. I did not hear from management after my incident. The second incident was finding a box cutter blade on my bench one day which was not their when I checked in.

Putt-Putt Golf was a Highlight

We were there staying the night before a Charity Golf Tournament and the Putt-Putt Golf was a Big Hit with the 4 of us enjoying a little friendly competition. Another added Bonus was the proximity to several Restaurants. We enjoyed Smokie Joes BBQ.

The guest service at this hotel is excellent — very friendly and professional. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the snacks/water gift bag in the room — that was a nice touch!

Could not hear noise outside the room and the bed was comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. To me decent water pressure tends to make for quicker showers and less water use. Bed was comfortable and choice of firm and soft pillows are great.

Great location, room was very clean and bathroom also very clean. The breakfast was good as well. I would highly recommend this hotel. Pool was warm enough that the kids could enjoy. Nice work out room.

Another stay

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the last nine years, including a family reunion. We have never had a problem or felt disappointed in breakfast items. This time, the staff wasn’t quit as on top of things as in previous stays, especially the night staff. We had two days when our bed was not made and towels replaced. We had to go to the front desk to get towels with no apology. The cleaning staff were in the hall outside our room when we left for the day, so they should have known the room was free. Friday’s breakfast was ok, Saturday and Sunday won with our favorite biscuits and gravy, Monday’s breakfast was more like leftovers from the previous three mornings with exception of pork sausage links. We will stay here again, but we’re disappointed after having had such wonderful experiences with this hotel.
