Wildwood Park and Zoo

The zoo covers over 60 acres and houses many different animals. Key exhibits include the Kodiak bears, cougars, fox, wolves, and lynx. Black-tailed prairie dogs spring out of the holes in their exhibit to peek at spectators while the great horned owls and bald eagles cautiously observe all of the activity. The zoo also features Sensory Gardens, which includes a wide variety of flowering and non-flowering plants designed to encourage the visitor to experience the senses.

Jurustic Park

This hidden gem features the sculptures of local artists Clyde & Nancy Wynia. While Clyde enjoys paleontology and re-creates excavated creatures that inhabited the nearby marsh during the "iron" age, the "Hobbit House" features Nancy's hand blown glass jewelry. Come and hear the humorous tales of the creatures unearthed from the marsh while marveling at the art created by this talented couple.

Upham Mansion

The restored home of former Wisconsin governor William Henry Upham, this house represents mid-Victorian architecture at its finest. Constructed in 1880, the mansion is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It now serves as the center for the North Wood County Historical Society exhibits, activities, and local history research. The mansion is the site of the annual Pie and Ice Cream Social held during Marshfield's Dairyfest. The mansion is also open to a festive Christmas Event.

New Visions Art Gallery

Visit New Visions for a series of dynamic exhibitions displayed in a 1,600 square foot, secure, climate-controlled gallery. Exhibits change every 6 to 8 weeks. Each features a variety of art forms including national traveling exhibits, significant works on loan from private and public collections and quality regional art. Chestnut Avenue Center for the Arts

The Chestnut Center for the Arts is Marshfield's nonprofit community venue for the visual and performing arts, educational classes, workshops and special events. The arts center also houses individual artists' and musicians' studios. The center also provides opportunities to rent spaces for teaching, rehearsing, performing and the beautiful “Chapel on Chestnut” is available for wedding ceremonies. Marshfield Motor Speedway

In addition to an exciting weekly racing program, Marshfield Motor Speedway hosts a Fall Shootout in the middle of September each year. The two day event showcases numerous divisions taking to the high speed oval for a showcase of speed. For those fans who enjoy metal mangling mayhem, look no further than the Eve of Destruction programs, featuring crazy stunts and novelty racing events of every variety.
