No license for cocktails, no trained cocktail waiter.
No glass of Prosecco instead of Cocktails, unless you buy a whole bottle.
Not even a simple Campari and Soda instead of cocktails, they don't have any!
Eminently suitable for business people wanting coffee and snacks during the day, but hopeless for people on HOLIDAY who want a pleasant getaway. Why offer swimming, Jacuzzi and a gym if holiday makers wont be allowed to enjoy the usual evening drinks, at a HOLIDAY INN?

This hotel is easy to reach from M5, with plenty of parking spaces. My family had a relaxing stay there and quite enjoyed the food and drink provided. Surely this hotel is a good choice for leisure or business.

Just excellent, no other word for it. Many thanks, the swimming pool facility was excellent. Car parking no problem. Although it is near to the M5 motorway, which means easy access, there is no sound problem, i.e. traffic.

Good clean and friendly hotel. Staff very willing and were capable of resolving a restaurant problem in quick time after it was explained to the head of the restaurant; very good service.

Hotel was lovely and very comfortable. Only downside was the room had been newly painted and we had to open the windows to let the smell out. Because of this we were woken up at 6.30am with deliveries. Not very nice when we had just completed a 7 hours drive from Glasgow and only got to bed after midnight. We were also due to drive back to Glasgow the following day after a funeral. Very tired.
Other than that I would recommend the hotel.

Having booked a family room via the website we were met by a normal sized room, with the most uncomfortable and small sofa bed squeezed into the room. This was totally unacceptable for a family of four. My 11yr old boy and 8 year old girl are not going to share a four foot wide sofa bed! and nor should we expect them to. If the website allows you to book a room for 4 people then I expect four people to be able to sleep in the room. Unhelpful staff just looked blankly at us. Will not be visiting again.

Generally a bit shabby. Bathrooms seem recently to have been upgraded, but not the rooms or corridors. Persistent small of sewage in the corridor outside our room was off-putting but fortunately did not penetrate our room. The duvet was too narrow - fine for one person, but one member of a couple continually lost the duvet. Very limited disabled parking spaces. Bit it served its purpose - somewhere to sleep after a wedding reception,.
