Close proximity to UC-Berkeley and very friendly staff

This is not one of the more glamorous and upscale HI Express properties in the network, but the two things it has going for it are: (a) very friendly staff; and (2) very convenient access to UC-Berkeley. The property needs sprucing up, but is still comfortable, has a nice breakfast buffet, and the basic amenities are there. It’s still a decent value proposition and I recommend it without hesitation.
