Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mitchell77 Rooms are small
The outside of the hotel was great when we pulled up and we couldn't wait to go inside. The lobby was nice and neat and when I got the front desk, the staff recognized me as an IHG Platinum Member. I asked if any suites were available and my request was granted since there was 4 of us. Once I walked into the room, I called down to the front desk as the room I was given was small and not as roomy as any suite I have been in before. It turns out that for this hotel, the suites are only 10 foot longer than a regular room. If you have more than 2 people, I would suggest going somewhere else if you need room.

The hotel staff was very nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We didn't have time to use the pool but it looked very inviting.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by wen48 Nice but small
Great for one person, maybe 2, but not a family. We always stay at Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express. This was nice and clean and breakfast was fairly good. Rooms were just way too small for us.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by MCJC76 Older rrom accomodations. Not losest Holiday Inn to Universal.
There is a Holiday Inn that is closer to the Universal entrance.
The sofa sleeper was old and the mattress was extremely poor.
The hotel staff was great - friendly and responsive.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by corpsvette85 Very close to Attractions
There are 2 Holiday Inns about a Mile apart. Make sure you know which one to go to. Upon arrival, the staff acknowledges my Member status and upgraded me to a suite. There are several free shuttles from the Hotel to Universal before 1130am and returning on different times from the Park to the Hotel in the evening. I checked in after 1130am and had to drive myself. Parking was $17 or $25 if you wanted Preferred parking. There is an employee in the lobby that can assist you with discounts and local attractions, but she left at 12pm. There are several nearby places to eat. Millers Ale house Orlando, Kobe, buffets etc. all walking distance..maybe a mile away. This is a busy Hotel with lots of kids running around. Breakfast was great and free!
