Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel You also know what you are getting with a Holiday Inn Express - clean and comfortable accommodation with good quality service. Hotel location was excellent just a short stroll to the High Street. As with all HIE the bar area is poor but the complimentary breakfast good (but not very exciting). Would recommend this hotel - have stayed many times before and would definitely stay here again. Staff are very friendly and very efficient. April 26, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beds - the difference between a bed and a mattress. Please try to find time to teach you staff that a hard mattress can be agonising. They should be able to understand the difference between hard beds, new beds and hard mattresses. Proper mattress toppers would be a huge benefit, lead to a good nights sleep and would stop me from even hesitating about repeat visits, As it is, our son lives in Cheltenham and the Holiday Inn express is in the ideal spot for us to stay when we visit. However, I am beginning to dread staying as I know I will not sleep well and will wake with a very sore back. Having said all that, the rooms are very clean and just right for an overnight/short stay. Staff are always courteous and welcoming and will do their best to sort out any issues. April 20, 2016

The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and parking is next to the hotel. The staff are helpful and polite. Overall, a comfortable place. April 16, 2016
