Perfect for one or two nights accommodation for business purposes. Location, free parking, friendly staff, efficient room design and cleanliness make this the best stay. Will definitely return if visiting Leicester for conferences/meetings.

HAVING STAYED AT HOLIDAYINN EXPRESS IN OTHER CITIES, AM PLEASED TO REPORT THIS HOTEL AS WELL UP TO STANDARD. POLITE STAFF, GOOD FREE PARKING, ALTHOUGH WOULD THINK IT IS A BIT NOISY ON MATCH DAYS WITH THE KING POWER STADIUM IN YOUR BACKYARD. OUT OF SEASON, WE BENEFITED FROM A QUIET ROOM AND RESTFUL NIGHT. REASONABLE RANGE OF BREAKFAST FOOD WITH NO RUSH TO GET TO THE RESTAURANT. CAN RECOMEND. JRW

Excellent and attentive front office staff. The hotel is located next to the Champions stadium of Leicester City and approx. 20 mins walk to the City. Quiet environment.

The service was better than the hotel, but overall it's a good place to stay.

Spent two nights here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly, being handy for hospital visiting and just a short walk into the town centre.
Visited the Richard III exhibition which was excellent.
Breakfast was adequate but cooked breakfast was limited to sausages, beans and scrambled egg. Wasn't keen on the sausages and prefer fried eggs. However there were croissants, pastries and plenty of cereals, toast and jams so no need to go hungry. It didn't spoil our stay one bit.
If the price is right we will definitely be back.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Andrew1024 Good hotel, HIE need better quality sausages for breakfast
Good hotel, but having had our eldest son turn 18 and having to pay an additional £25 for him to stay in the same room I would have expected an additional bed for him and our other son rather than having to share a double sofa bed.
As with our last stay in an express, the breakfast was okay but the sausages are awful, please upgrade your supplier!
Having stayed in express hotels in Belgium and the USA, the breakfast in the UK is a very poor third place.

Used this hotel for a gig at the King Power Stadium. Believe me you can not get any closer to the ground its literally across a road.
The hotel is a good example of an Inn Express its cheap and comfortable overall we had a good night here.

I use this hotel for its convenient location and its car park. The walk into Leicester city centre is very pleasant along the river. The rooms are clean, practical and comfortable. I like the beds! Reception is usually friendly and helpful but I rarely see anybody else. The soap dispensers in the bathroom are a little awkward to use but I like the fact that they don't use silly little plastic bottles. The breakfast is a little disappointing but better than it was when I first visited in 2014
