Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the third largest Sunni mosque in term of capacity. This national mosque of Indonesia was built to commemorate Indonesian independence and named "Istiqlal", an Arabic word for "independence". The mosque has a large rectangular prayer hall with a 45 meter diameter dome supported by 12 round columns, and has 4 levels of balconies. It can accommodate congregations of up to 120,000 people.

Monas, the National Monument, is a 433ft (132m) tower in the center of Merdeka Squara (Lapangan Merdeka) in Central Jakarta. It is symbolizing the fight for Indonesia. Monas is the official monument of the Republic of Indonesia, built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian independence. The construction of Monas began in 1961 under the direction of President Soekarno, and it was opened to the public in 1975.

Taman Ismail Marzuki, popularly known as TIM, or in English as Ismail Marzuki Park is an arts, cultural, and science center located at Cikini in Jakarta, Indonesia. Within the complex there are also educational institutions such as the Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ), the HB Jassin Literary Documentation Center and Jakarta Planetarium. The complex is built on an 8 hectares land area. TIM is named after Ismail Marzuki, one of Indonesia's most influential composers.

Metropole is a historic multipurpose building complex in Jakarta, Indonesia. Metropole is the oldest surviving movie theater in Jakarta after the Grand Theater cinema in Senen. One of its main tenants is the 21 Cineplex group, which operates the Metropole XXI movie theater in the complex's main building. As a historic cinema, it has screened films during the first Indonesian Film Festival (1955) and the 16th Asia Pacific Film Festival (1970). Metropole was listed as an architectural heritage.
