There is so much to see and do in Ottawa, ON. So much so, that we had a hard time coming up with just 2 days worth of ideas! Day 1 Explore Ottawa West: • Start your day exploring Diefenbunker – Canada’s Cold War Museum – a Cold War-era underground bunker. • With all the exploring finished, it’s time for a treat! Take the family to the Carp Custom Creamery for a serving of house made ice cream and treats. • Work off those extra calories with an outdoor walk along the Pinhey Forest Trails. It runs 3.5 kms and is open year-round. Day 2 Explore downtown Ottawa: • Start with the Canadian War Museum where you can see one of the finest collections of military vehicles and more. • Spend some time wandering around the Byward Market to find one-of-a-kind mementos of your trip and have lunch in one of the many amazing restaurants. • Finally, finish the day exploring the Canadian Museum of Nature with their downloadable scavenger hunt.
