The staff was so gracious. The rooms were clean, and comfortable and the pool area was well kept.

Not the hotels fault, but had alot of loud people in rooms on the 2nd floor. Doors slamming in middle of night, loud voices. One night someone tried to get in our room, then we heard him and someone else agruing in hall way.
You all have laundry facility, but not any quarters to pass out to guests. This actually happened at 2 different Holiday Inns we stayed at on this outing.
Other than that, the experience was good.

Musty, wore out beds, rude staff and poor housekeeping just the start. Called to complain the front desk put me on hold for 22 minutes I called on a second phone the same person answered and then she said the manager was at lunch. Called back an hour later and she told me he was still not in I left my number with her and have yet to recieve a call back. But that was par for the course since at the beginning they lost my reservation and sent us on a wild goose chase aroun San Antonio. They said they would refund 15000 points on my account for their mix up and that never happened. I have never in my 27 years as a member with this brand been treated so shabbily.

Requested no maid service one day and that was given. The next day we wanted maid service and did not receive any. Hallways were loud and one employee at the front desk was very rude on our checkout.

Very comfortable and great staff! I would stay here again. Liked the way the staff took care of our needs very quickly! The experience overall was very good.

We have stayed at many Holiday Inns in the past. We had even stayed in this one before so this is the reason we returned. This was a poor stay. First of all check in was a 4pm and check out was at 11am. That is a less than 24 hour stay at $255 (with taxes and fees). Price would have been ok if stay had been a good one. Our room was on the first floor (which we hated). There was trash in the drawers of the night stand, there was mold on the walls in the bathroom, (I took pictures) and the floor under the sink was dirty. When my husband reported these he was told "our cleaning staff is getting lazier, and lazier". No measures were made to rectify the situation. My husband asked for an ice bucket. He was told one would be brought to our room. It never arrived! The room smelled very musty. The ironing board was broken and difficult to use. We will not be returning to this particular hotel.

I have always liked the Holiday Inn but my experience at this hotel was awful thank goodness we were gone most of the day. We stayed 3 nights and the hotel lobby and entire first floor smelled like a sewer backed up. I asked 3 different people who worked at the hotel and they acted like it did not smell. One person told me he was born not having a sense of smell. There were 10 of us at this hotel and they all smelled it. Our rooms were not cleaned and the carpets were dirty. At 10:00 pm one evening there was no coffee creamer or sugar. Breakfast was cold and bland so we did not eat breakfast at the hotel during our stay. I would never stay at this hotel again
We stayed at a holiday inn in Lafayette, La on our trip to San Antonio and it was a 10. Service and hotel wonderful
