Olympic National Park

Olympic Game Farm

Built and opened by Lloyd Beebe in 1942, the Olympic Game Farm has become a home for many former Disney animals, most notably 'Gentle Ben' which starred Dan Haggerty . Now younger generations of the former trainer of many Disney animals are keeping the traditions alive. Guests will enjoy all sorts of animals as they drive round the enclosures. Lions, wolves, elk, mouse, buffalo and naturally, bears. This is one of the best family attractions on the Olympic Peninsula.

Lavender Farms

Spread around the Sequim Dungeness valley are the lavender farms of Sequim. Sequim is the National capital of lavender. Ask our front desk team to guide you to the farms that are currently featuring great lavender products and during the season, June - September, let us show you the best and most picturesque farms.

Sequim Lavender Festival

Join 30,000 people in the Olympic Peninsula's biggest festival. Each of the farms has something special going on while the downtown is alive with music, farmers markets, art exhibits and the whole city has the aroma of lavender. The Lavender Festival occurs on the third weekend of July, but you can enjoy the farms throughout the summer months.

Hurricane Ridge

View the peaks of the Olympic Mountain range at 5200 ft altitude in one of the areas most visited spots. Winter season sees Hurricane ridge Road open all-year round which will mean exciting snoe shoe and cross country skiing opportunities as well as downhill slopes that would be perfect for beginners and families.

Dungeness Spit/Lighthouse

Enjoy an opportunity to walk on the contiginous United States' longest land spit. At 5.5 miles each-way, you'll need to be prepared for the return journey. Marine life and birds will be seen in abundance so bring your cameras. There boat tours available that now land on the spit, just check with your hotel's front desk.

Lake Crescent

A beautiful crescent shaped lake filled with water from the Olympic Mountains has been the setting for movies and a favored spot for Presidents, especially Roosevelt.

Coho Ferry to Victoria, BC

We invite to ask about the ferry times throughout the year. Typically the early ferry leaves at 8.20 AM giving you plenty of time for an early breakfast before going to canada. In the Winter, the ferry operates twice daily, rising to 4 sailings during the summer months. We have ferry schedules in the hotel.

Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course

A Championship par-72 golf course that is very challenging. GPS golf carts help provide accurate information for those that aren't the best 'drivers' from the tee, while the challenging holes offer opportunities to hit trees at will if you are looking for excuses at the 19th hole, the perfect venue for dining after the round.
