Room was quite musty. Not sure if maybe the air conditioner was just not taking the moister out of the room.
I will say the bed was comfortable. It's odd for the sink to not be in the bathroom. I know there are other hotels we've stayed in that's the case. Personnel were all very kind. Breakfast was good.

While the property is comparable to many other Holiday Inn Express locations, its exceptional staff make it outstanding. I left a personal item in the room. It was located by Joanna who then brought it to UPS to be securely returned to me. I call that remarkable service and would highly recommend this property.
Decent Sleep - Not So Great Most Everything Else

The good was the convenient location and the comfort of bed and quality of sleep - including room temperature control. The rest, not so good.
Elevator very slow - and only one of them.
Elevator loud - could be heard in my room all day/night in my room a few rooms down the hall from elevator.
WiFi was horrible. Rarely stayed connected and when it did, very difficult to pass data on any of my devices - phone, tablet, laptop.
Bathroom ridiculously small.
Toilet didn't flush well. Usually had to flush twice.
Breakfast was horrible compared to many other HIE's. Eggs were weird little circles - not even sure it was just egg or if there was some starchy additive to them. Sausages were slimy and were swimming in a tub full of grease.
Door key had to be swiped several times before it would unlock.

My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Bridgeville PA from May 9 - May 12, 2025. While there, we had a problem with one of the employees. Upon checkout, we spoke with a manager, Joanna Ganster. She said that she would give us 10,000 points for our trouble. A few weeks went by and no points were deposited. I contacted Joanna again and she said that she would look into it and get back to me. She also said she would deposit another 10,000 points. Over a month went by and still no points. I contacted her again at the end of June. She said she would look into it and get back to me. As of today (July 5), I have not heard back from her. This situation is so frustrating that I will not stay at this particular Holiday Inn again.

The staff helped me with my luggage, I thought my husband put our suitcases in the vehicle, He thought I put the suitcases in the vehicle. OOPS! Left them in the room️. The staff took my call and retrieved my luggage and is shipping them back to Iowa as I’m writing this letter. Staff was excellent in assuring me that the luggage would get to Iowa as soon as possible! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Nhận phòng dễ dàng, khu vực công cộng sạch sẽ, rất thích khi chúng tôi ở tầng một! Phòng sạch sẽ, giường rất thoải mái và khu vực gương chiếu sáng tốt ở bồn rửa. Cháu gái của tôi rất thích khu vực hồ bơi. Tôi đã phải đến quầy lễ tân hai lần vì đèn tắt trong khu vực hồ bơi và biển báo cho biết đóng cửa trong giờ mở cửa được liệt kê. Nhân viên lễ tân bật đèn cho chúng tôi sau đó chúng tôi rất vui khi đi, cháu gái cũng vậy, tôi thấy hơi ớn lạnh! Nhìn chung, cuối tuần rất tốt đẹp ở thị trấn cho lễ tốt nghiệp của các cháu gái khác! Khách sạn này là nơi con trai tôi đã lưu trú trước đây và rất thích vì vậy chúng tôi đã chọn ở đây một lần nữa.
Tôi sẽ không lưu trú lại đây một lần nữa

Đây là một khách sạn được quản lý sai. Khi vợ tôi nhẹ nắm lấy tay vịn phòng tắm, nó bật ra ngay từ bức tường. Nó không được vặn vào một chiếc đinh tán mà chỉ vào tấm ván tường bằng những chiếc đinh vít không phù hợp. Khi chúng tôi trở về sau bữa tối vào đêm đầu tiên, thang máy không hoạt động và chúng tôi phải sử dụng cầu thang bộ để lên phòng- một người áp đặt lên vợ tôi, người đang sử dụng gậy. Rõ ràng là đã có một đợt điện đột ngột và thang máy ngừng hoạt động. Nhân viên bàn đang nghe điện thoại với một người nào đó đang cố gắng làm cho nó hoạt động trở lại nhưng không thành công. Tôi không đổ lỗi cho nhân viên bán hàng - tôi đổ lỗi cho ban quản lý

Not a good stay at all. First, the elevator was broken the entire 3 nights of our stay. You could not get it on the 3rd floor to go down. It did not look like they were in any hurry to fix it. When we entered our room, no air was on. It felt very stuffy. When we did turn on the air, it would click off and not turn back on until it was very warm in the room. The carpet was filthy. Looks like it was not vacuumed. The TV remote did not work. Had to call down to get a new one. The coffee being served downstairs was awful. The bed was uncomfortable. We did not have enough towels. Ran out of tissues. The refrigerator wobbled when opened, and water spilled out all over the floor, and I had to wipe it up. Not my job!

The first night, after working all day, we arrived at the Holiday Inn express, I got undressed and prepared for a shower, turned the shower on and nothing but hot water came out. When I tried to adjust it, it would not adjust so the shower head just sat there blasting hot water until the bathroom was filled with steam. My wife also tried to adjust it with no luck.
We called the front desk and the person on duty that night said he would switch our rooms. So I had to get re-dressed pack all of our things and proceed to the replacement room. The room was labeled as a suite. It was not a suite it was a handicap accessible room. The shower head would not adjust to angle downward and just shot directly across the shower and slowly crept down the mounting system blasting water straight at you as it went from your head to your waist. I finished my shower having to hold the shower head in my hand. Water ran out of the shower all over the floor saturating the floor mat / towel. I told the front desk about it and had to again change rooms. The second night and third room into our “vacation”. When we woke the next day very tired and stressed, the coffee maker was not working correctly so we had to go to and get coffee from the breakfast area. Because of all the problems and restless nights we slept in a little bit and by the time we went to get breakfast (10:02 AM) the breakfast area was totally closed and all we could get was coffee. When we went back on Sunday, which was going to be our last night we decided to cut our vacation short by a day and drive back home to avoid further problems and stress. When I spoke to the girl behind the desk on Sunday, she had said that there were no managers or anybody there to talk to that. I would have to call this week when a manager was there.
I cannot express how unhappy I am with our attempted stay at your facility.

This hotel caters to families and you will find children running up and down the halls coming from the pool until the 10 PM closing. The rooms are not uniform, there are some that are much better than others, especially the size of the bathrooms. The staff will try to accommodate room changes if requested and available. The free breakfast has very little variety; 3 out of 4 mornings the hot entree was very flat eggs and the other was scrambled. The cinnamon rolls the chain is known for are flatter here and may not be available at the time you go for breakfast. If you value cost over free breakfast and room comfort, this is the hotel for you.
