Loved everything about our stay! The cleanliness, the staff, the breakfast, the comforts and the location were all spot on! Now for the details.......After we left Destin we had to travel to another state and stay at a different brand of hotel (not by choice). Here are the details that set Holiday Inn Express apart......the big window. When the curtains were open, the room felt light and bigger, unlike the other place we stayed and felt like we were in a dungeon on the 5th Floor. When the curtains were closed, NO light came in any cracks to wake us early, unlike the other place we stayed and bright sunshine peaked in underneath the bottom of the curtain. I became spoiled by the anti-fog mirror! I also became spoiled by the "good yogurt!" The other place had the cheapy yogurt. My husband loved the mouth wash in the bathroom. Our room was big! Unlike the other place. My intention is not to bash another brand, but to share the extra comforts of the HIE! Great attention to detail!!
The location was great! We walked to the beach and every restaurant around us. And there were a lot!

Good beds and other amneties in the room. Elevator was good and has ability to hold carts and bring our luggage upstiars to the room. Nice breakfast with good options. Close to the beach and located in a nice area.

Cleanliness, very poor.
Breakfast area is very small such occupation. I waited for my breakfast more that 30 minutes!
Weed smokers are allowed in the property!!!!!
Pool area is not equipped with umbrellas!
Highly unlikely I can recommend this!

The hotel and room were what I expected in terms of design, amenities, etc. It was just very loud and easy to hear other guests in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Most staying here were on vacation, but i was traveling for business, so my only complaint was the noise.

This hotel always excels in cleanliness and friendliness. The breakfast is always good and fresh. All the employees we encountered were greeting us and very polite and helpful.
Great Location, just a lot of interior noise.

We had a 1st floor room just down from the lobby. Very noisy because of luggage carts moving over the tile floor. Noisy neighbors, they like to party very late into the night. Early risers with doors banging and breakfast area noise We checked out three days early, just couldn't handle the noisy environment. Not a very pleasant stay for us.

Overall amazing experience from check in until checkout. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was exceptional and breakfast was fresh. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and attentive both mornings we were there!
Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay but there were. Roaches in our room we had to notify the staff. They just sprayed a hole behind the refrigerator and left. We saw the roaches again as we were packing up to check out.
Good bed, nice size room and friendly staff.

We love the location and staff. Hallways were loud and doors were slammed most of the night. Stayed 7 nights and did the "greener day" and received everything we needed without question. Slept well 6 nights. One night there was a large food truck requiring the compressor to run all night parked outside our window. It was horrible but Maxiieann was very apologetic about it was said we would be compensated 5,000 pts which softend the situation. I definitely would come back. We were also there in 2024

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to every detail. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and offered a stunning view. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
The hotel amenities were top-notch—everything from the well-equipped gym to the serene spa and the delicious breakfast buffet. The location was perfect, close to major attractions yet peaceful and quiet.
Special thanks to the concierge team for helping us with great local recommendations. This hotel truly goes above and beyond. Can’t wait to return!

This is am amazing choice to stay. It is within walking distance to the beach, to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. There is also an outdoor pool on the premises. The staff are all very friendly and my experience was very good. My expectations were exceeded on this one. You should try it!
