Hotel Indigo Nashville
Hotel Indigo Nashville
Located in Printer’s Alley, the Hotel Indigo® Nashville Downtown hotel sets the beat in downtown Nashville. Once a bank, you’ll notice hints of that heritage throughout our hotel, like the original travertine floors in many guest rooms and U.S. Post drops in our hallways. Today, join us in our printer-themed lobby with its own library and speakeasy-inspired lounge featuring local artists and songwriters 7 nights a week. Our District Bar & Kitchen serves locally inspired fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and we also offer four meeting rooms designed to host intimate receptions, boardroom discussions or cutting-edge seminars. Our location is convenient to the State Capitol, the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, the Entertainment District, Nissan Stadium, and the Ryman Auditorium.

Neighborhoods
Explore our neighborhood.
In between Nashville’s 3rd and 4th Avenues, you’ll find historic Printers Alley. Once home to a young Andrew Jackson’s law practice, by the 1890s this little backstreet had become the printing capital of the world. Here, the Hatch brothers’ ink-stained woodblocks and metal type stamped out a distinctive style that advertised many of the first vaudeville acts, minstrel shows, and movies. In time, the area’s tastes would transform the neighborhood into a “Men’s District” with a speakeasy vibe and then again to a booming nightclub destination, attracting music legends to give an authentic soundtrack to these gritty streets. Today, while many of the presses have stopped, the Alley's iconic neon signs still flicker heartily against the twang of a distinctly country music culture, imprinted with unmistakable character and carefree spirit.
The museum has been the home to America's music since 1967. Inside, it presents a vast collection to illustrate country music's story as told throughout two centuries. A treasure trove of historic country video clips, recorded music, live performances and public programs all contribute to an unforgettable and unique experience.
This plantation was the home of Andrew Jackson, seventh president of the United States, from 1804 until his death in 1845, and is one of the oldest and largest historic site museums in the United States. Just minutes from downtown. For something different, try the lantern-light evening tours.
Just a few blocks from the hotel, this 130-year old shop made its first poster for the Rev. Henry Ward Beecher; since then, it has produced outstanding examples of the letterpress art for everyone from Cab Calloway to Wynonna. Producing 500 to 600 posters a year, Hatch Show Print also offers workshops for visitors.
Not just any pair of shoes will do in a city like Nashville, which values its country-western heritage. Boot Country is where you’ll want to go to get some amazing and unique boots. The Nashville boot store carries everything from pink boots for toddlers to python-skin must-haves. And don’t forget to check out their stock of Stetsons.
Formerly home to the Grand Ole Opry and Union Gospel Tabernacle, the Ryman is one the most famous live-performance venues in the world. Known for its extensive country music history, the auditorium has transformed into an intimate concert venue for major artists of all genres. Take a self-guided or guided backstage tour.
One of the city's most famous honkytonks, the bar hosts some of the best live musical acts in Nashville. Tootsie's has two stages that host local talent each night, covering modern-day country music and the traditional sounds, too. Throughout the lounge, enjoy pictures and memorabilia of musical artists who came to Music City to be stars.
Music City is so much more than the sounds of country, and this downtown blues bar shows you how much Nashville's scene continues to grow. Just a short walk from our hotel, Bourbon Street is located in Printers Alley, one of the most unique stretches of walkways in the city. The bar's extensive schedule plays throughout the day.
This small venue is one of the most intimate settings for live music by songwriters. Experience the radio hits in a way you’ve never heard them during two live shows a night. The Listening Room is smoke-free and very family-friendly, if you sit at the tables. Early shows are usually free, while later performances may have a $5-$10 cover.
The downtown Nashville restaurant is more than a place to enjoy a good meal. With mismatched tables and chairs and an eclectic clientele of farmers, songwriters and country music stars, it’s a place serving up a dining experience unlike any other. Check out its daily chalkboard specials, and at breakfast, let its southern biscuits melt in your mouth.
Proudly serving BBQ from “Pit to Plate,” the downtown Nashville restaurant offers Tennessee pork shoulder, beef brisket, smoked turkey and chicken, St. Louis style ribs and other southern cuisine. Located behind the historic Ryman Auditorium, the cafeteria-style restaurant has served city visitors and locals since 1976.
The chophouse is known for its superb steaks, flown-in-daily seafood, stellar wine offerings and exceptional service. Servers are required to research meat specifications, sample wine pairings and take monthly visits to breweries. Complimentary transportation to and from the hotel is available, too!
Located in the Pinnacle at Symphony Place, this downtown restaurant is highlighted by a state-of-the-art, shuck-to-order oyster bar. The unique eatery brings a southern sensibility with its seafood dishes inspired from all over: the Gulf Coast to the Caribbean and Nova Scotia to North Carolina.
