Convenient, cost effective and good overall. Close to all local attractions. Parking was good and secure. Staff were attentive and friendly. Room was clean and only a bit noisy (road noise from the Turnpike and rooftop HVAC units?) An update is due on things like carpet in the hallway but we've stayed in other places that were way worse.

I checked out on Wednesday last week not Thursday and you charge me the extra night. After telling me you wouldn’t. I caught it and will never come back to your establishment when in that area

I have stayed in a few of these hotels and most breakfast stations have been updated . This one has not example coffee machine and hot water, yogurt not a good variety.I thought having a tip jar on the buffet line was not appropriate. We also thought the carpet was dirty or worn down.

Poorly Maintained Hotel

During our recent journey from the southern United States to the northern United States, we chose to stay exclusively at Holiday Inn Express hotels. Unfortunately, this particular property fell well below the standards we have come to expect from IHG and was a significant disappointment compared to the other locations we visited.

Upon arrival, it was immediately apparent that the hotel was not well maintained. The carpeting throughout the property was visibly stained and dirty, and the floor on which our room was located had large bleach stains near the elevator. Common areas showed extensive wear, including scuffed paint and noticeable rub marks. Additionally, we observed two large bags of trash left at the first-floor elevator area when we arrived—bags which remained there for over an hour when we later went downstairs.

Although we did not use the pool, we passed through the area and noted multiple used and dirty towels strewn throughout. At breakfast the following morning, we were surprised to see a tip jar placed in the breakfast area—something we have never encountered at any other IHG property. Given the overall state of disrepair, this was particularly off-putting.

On a positive note, the bed linens were clean, the bed was comfortable, and both the towels and the bathroom were clean. These factors ultimately led us to stay the night.

However, given that the nightly rate was comparable to other, far better maintained Holiday Inn Express properties, we do not feel that this location meets IHG’s standards. Based on our experience, we do not believe this property should be allowed to operate under the Holiday Inn Express name - as this name implies certain standards which are not being met.

Clean,quiet room with friendly staff. Hotel location is easy to find.

Dirty, old, nasty. Needs updating.. Bathrooms are old and falling apart. Floors in bath were sticky and so filthy, nasty in corners of bath floor. Bathroom tub was stained and wall was cracked with soap scum all over. Showerhead was covered with soap scum. Room smelled funny when entering. Furniture needs replacing. Lamps need replacing. Curtains dirty and stained. TV was terrible too. No USB ports.
Outside garbage cans overflowing, garbage all over the ground, in parking lot, awful looking outside. The landscape left alot to be desired when you pull up to hotel. Looks unkempt and sketch.
Also I try to pick IGH hotel because of standards....this hotel DID NOT MEET any standards!
So very very disappointed.

Hotel manager was very arrogant and used offensive language while raised a complaint regarding bath tub leakage, he is adamant to listen. Hotel lacks to maintain hygeine, mats in common areas are stinky.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a great location—this hotel had everything I was looking for. I especially loved my room and the peaceful, restful atmosphere throughout the property. A special shout-out to Tony at the front desk—he was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth and answering all my questions with a smile. I’d absolutely love to return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

We were not impressed with the cleanliness and it was very loud due to the thruway. Breakfast was mediocre.

Needs an update badly. Not up to the standards I have found in other Holiday Inn express.
Fresh oatmeal would be a great addition to the breakfast.
