Cleanliness and ants. The room had some kind of odor, we had to be asked to move. When we did move, we woke up the next morning and had ants in our food that was left on the table.

We were on our way home to Michigan and chose Davenport as our last stop before getting home. It was convenient and priced right. Would stay again if need be.

Outside of hotel looks great, inside does not match. Staff was not friendly or welcoming. Our shower curtain was so short that water just spilled onto the floor so we had to use extra towels to soak it up. Our room floor was dirty and sticky. I asked for extra towels but was told they don’t have extra towels. They did not offer a solution or apologize; we used our dirty towels to shower. The rooms are blah for the price you pay. No food or drink are allowed in the pool area which I can understand to a degree but kids under 14 require an adult with them so you can’t even sit and watch your child and enjoy a beverage (soda, water, beer, nothing). We were told we can watch our kids through the window in the hallway. What?!? Don’t be fooled by this hotel, look elsewhere, you’ll find better.

First off the night lady that checked us in, Cece, was fantastic and helped us out with extra towels and whatever we needed at check in. The room/bathroom was clean and comfortable. The sheets were actually stain free. The beds were comfortable. The cable TV was a bit annoying to navigate. The breakfast was very good. The star of breakfast was the cinnamon rolls. Staff kept breakfast very well stocked. All in all a very good experience

The service here was good. The neighborhood is not. The bed was hard as a rock. I have stayed at holiday inns all over the country. I had never been greeted by some random stranger peeing in the parking lot until this stay

All in all a good experience
I like the online check in and check out
The hotel itself was easy to get to and well lit very clean
The shining stars are the front desk, staff and the gentlemen working in the breakfast area

it was a great stay thank you

needs more lighting in the room everything else was fine will stay again in the future thanks to everyone again

There were a few things that were disturbing - such as the QTip next to the bed when we got to our room. Understand you can miss things -- but when it is in plain site - felt that the room was cleaned properly. Also -- Monday morning there was very little breakfast. Being a holiday weekend - more people in the hotel - I would of had additional breakfast on hand.

It's alright.

This hotel is in a great location and looks relatively new. However, I found that there is no clock in room and the refrigerator would not keep anything cold.

We've stayed at a fair number of Holiday Inn Express hotels in the past. This hotel was one of the dirtiest we've experienced. The carpets were dirty, dust in the corners, air conditioner had dirty filters, bathtub looked dirty. Plus, the toilets were very low to the point it was hard getting up. Hotel was definitely shabby and outdated however that is minor in my mind compared to the cleanliness. One of the lamps needed a new lightbulb - that was provided within 10 minutes of my call to the front desk.
