The location of the hotel was perfect! Right in the middle of everything. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast offered several options. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great location in the heart of deadwood. Room was a little tight for six adults but we made it work. Pool was good. Staff was great and very helpful. Wish we could have stayed another day.

The hotel is located downtown and within walking distance of several attractions. Numerous restaurants in the immediate area. The staff was great and the breakfast was very good

Excellent hotel and best way to experience all the Deadwood attractions within walking distance. Park you car and walk to all the attractions!

Great people. Great service. Very much enjoyed. Came here for vacation. Got to see the Culver State Park, which I really wanted to see and saw a buffalo that was cool. The hotel was real close to where we wanted to stay and got to see the shootout and everybody was very polite. The Casino was clean and I have no issues with it. We stayed here last year and it really enjoyed our time so we came back again this year.

We had the best night, friendly service, comfortable bed, pool was great, and breakfast was warm and delicious. The room was nice a clean. If you are staying in Deadwood you need to check this motel out. It was a great night for a family of 4 to stay and make wonderful memories.

We stayed here one night, the room was fine, when we checked in the girl at the desk was very nice and friendly and she gave us a coupon for like 10 casino tokens or something like that we could use at any gold dust casino right there in that area (The coupon had the Holiday Inn and Gold Dust on it). We unpacked came back down to go to the casino and tried to use it and they said we have to go back to hotel to get them to give us the tokens, so we went back there and the lady now there at the hotel desk was very rude and short with us, telling us they were closed. All we ask was how do we use the coupon. We barely were able to finish our sentence. She seemed very unhappy with her job. There was a band playing on the corner, had reenactments looked like a pretty cool little town to spend some time and money, but this lady's attitude ruined it for us

Overall, we had a good experience. The staff were nice and helpful. They allow pets but need more sound proofing in the rooms. We could easily hear noises in the hall, conversations, other dogs barking. The “pet area” outside is about 5 feet wide and 20 feet long covered in astroturf and rocks. Our dogs didn’t really like it. In addition, parking is about 1.5 blocks away and fills up quickly.
