Extremely dirty, bathrooms filthy razors in floor.

As a diamond member, I stay at a lot of hotels within IHG this hotel was by far the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. We checked in only to find it had not been vacuumed in weeks. Food and hair was all over the floor the bathroom had a crusty rag still hanging on the shower head. We also found a single use razor laying in the floor by the air conditioning unit in plain sight. The room was never cleaned or had been cleaned for a while you could tell that they do not clean. I called IHG they reached out to the front desk. I had two options stay in that room or leave. Well after traveling for 8 hrs with two kids I had to make the decision to stay and just get new linen to make the beds. I was extremely disappointed in the hotel management in Ruston, I have reached out to the GM there two days ago left a voicemail and still have not received a call back. Also I had a co-worker staying at the hotel the same night and they ran into the same problems of filth.

Stay only if you're in desperate need of sleep. Here's why: 1) Front desk is MIA. Waited 15 mins to checkin and that was only because another staff member walked by and said they would go find them. 2) Upon arriving to my room, the bed had clearly been laid on (impression left in pillow and comforter. 3) Waited another 20-30, while also calling the hotel trying (answers/hangs up) to report this to the MIA front desk while other customers lined up t9 check in. 4) Was awakened throughout by the constant blinking of the fire alarm light. 5) Was awakened again by a loud bang in the hallway around 1:15am and running down the hallway.

I do alot of roadtrips throughout the US and have been accustomed to a certain standard and reliability when staying at Holiday Inn Expresses and this location falls short and was very disappointing for the brand. Two stars are for the breakfast and the convenience off of being right off the freeway!

Very nice hotel, friendly front desk staff easy check in & out. Will definitely stay here again. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfy

Ms. Stacy checked us in, she was so sweet. Called me by my first name, welcome me a a member and asked if we needed extra towels and bedding and then handed it all to me at checkin. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean. Excellent stay.

I loved this stop for my family of 5 plus our little dog! From the start Sterling was so kind and helpful with booking and Glenn was there to greet us with excellent service when we arrived! I was very happy with the hospitality from all of the staff, would definitely love to stay at this pet friendly and clean accommodating hotel again!

I’ll start off on a positive note. Stacey at the front desk was friendly and helped us find a local restaurant to have dinner. Now I first noticed that the elevators were dirty. Carpet needed a major vacuum and the corners and threshold needed someone to get on their hand and knees to clean the groves that the vacuum would not pick up in corners. Next we walked in our room and turned the lights on. The room was dark even with all the lights on. Next the bathroom was so dirty that we decided not to shower until we got home the next day I took pictures The vent in the bathroom was thick with dust that apparently it was not clean in months. Along with the piping behind the toilet bowl. Floors were dirty and stained and the bathtub corners were rusty and dark. Looked like mold. The main room carpet was sticky and also needed to be vacuum and had food in the corners. The beds were comforting enough and the sheets were new and crisp. We liked the pillows. I can’t recommend this Holiday inn unfortunately.

Gross smell

We were immediately greeted with a gross musty mildew smell throughout the building. There were air purifiers in the hallway that did nothing. The carpet in the room was dirty, as was the shower. A few of the lights were burned out. Breakfast didn’t look like much so we skipped it. Bed was clean and we stuck out the smell since it was just one night. Overall wouldn’t recommend or stay here again.

Fantastic hotel that is well designed. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. The staff is professional and friendly, and exhibited traits of going above and beyond to satisfy the needs of guest. Loved the fresh baked cookies that they provided in the lobby.

My go to for hotels in the area. This time the room has a musky smell to it. Almost like they were having a mold issue. Also not happy with the rate changing considerably from one night to the next. For the price, you would think a Diamond IHG member would have been upgraded to a Suite as well.
