After spending a lovely weekend in Lille, we retired to the hotel just after 10pm on the Sunday, in order to relax, before getting the early Eurostar home in the morning.

We were slightly surprised that the bar had shut in the hotel. We asked the night staff if it was possible for them to get us a drink, we were not asking them to open the bar. Note this is a hotel that offers 24 hr room service!

We were made to feel that it was all to difficult and they grudgingly supplied the drinks requested.

I have never received this kind of attitude and poor service from any other IHG Branded hotel in the past

very poor service I checked in early hours after a long travel to get here check in was ok, get to room 209 nice view from the room however no widows to open air con didt work phone several times to ask if they can sort it out I got we will send someone.... they didt , it got to the point where I had to go down and ask for something to be done about it, even then they had to come up and see it for there selfs once they had walked in oh yes it is hot in there and we will change you to another room great !! get to the other room 211 nice and cool but the curtains don't fit to short and they have holes in them like some ones shot the, with a shotgun , managed to get some sleep, bathroom zero water pressure, I was promised the manger would call me,,, im still waiting now...

Good location, but some service needed to develop

The Hotel has a great location, near to the Lille Europe railway station, and close to the center.
In my opinion there are some thing, services to be developed:
- the staff often shut the door of the fittness room noisily, when a guest is in the fittness room, or in the sauna for relax;
- I think you shold provide a trash can on the table, during the breakfast, and the staff should be more kind;
- I had my room on the second floor, there was some unliked noise all night long.
