Weekend stay for daughter's sorority event. Prior to checking in we were told very negative comments about this property by friends. However, our experience was the total opposite.
The in-app check in was easy and convenient. The staff were all professional and courteous. Our room was clean and in good condition. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.

We did not like our stay - not only were our Diamond Elite status and preferences not acknowledged, and our room had a strange machine in it plugged in on the counter in the room that clearly said “do not use with people in the room” and when I called the front desk they said “oh that’s to make the room smell good, we’ll send someone to pick it up.” There was a reason that was in the room, as afterwards the room reeked of mold and mildew, and the air conditioning did not work to remove it, even after being on high air conditioning for hours. The closet was unfinished and there were putty patched holes in the shower floor and when you went to shower, it felt like the floor was bending and going to fall in. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
