I was really disappointed in the new manager's inability to do her duties. As a hotel manager it is her job to ensure that each person that books a room/suite gets what they booked. She failed at this. She gave my friends and I two rooms for free since the people would not leave or rather were not made to leave, which is fine, but if she had two rooms to give to us why didn't she move the other people.
In addition, the fact that she waited until 2:15 to call, 45 minutes prior to check in is inexcusable.

It should have been conveyed up front that this hotel was of the self-service type, ie, one had to exchange ones towels for fresh towels on a daily basis. There is no daily housekeeping service which I was not used too.

The front desk clerk was very poorly trained. We have stayed at this particular hotel many times in the past and have always been very pleased. This time however, was a nightmare and it was due to one particular person. We did wind up leaving and going home instead of staying the night. The manager did call the next day to discuss the issue with us.

I cannot understand why a faciliity that is used by travelers (adults and seniors), that toilets that are very small and low to the floor would be installed. It is evident that the $50 for a smaller toilet saved by your company is more important than the needs of the guests.

I will not be returning to this Hotel nor any other CandleWood Suites. This Hotel smells like FEET and Wet DOG as soon as you walk in. The smell carries all the way up to the 4th floor. NOT worth the money nor points.

front desk person very helpful. We did check out the exercise room but only staying overnight. We did venture out to dine at Cheesecake restaurant

Pros: Staff was great. Service (linen, trash, etc) exceptional. Rooms lots of space. Gas grills outside for guest to use, with cooking tools provided. Kitchens stocked with plenty of supplies (dishes, silver ware, cookware). Great location (except for construction in the area underway).
Cons: Elevator was not available for guest use while some type of cleaning was going on. (It was very inconvenient for my elderly mother on the top floor.) Not enough drawers available for clothing for long stays for more than one person.
