The walls had stains all over them in the bathroom, along with hair. The wall adjacent to the shower head would leak water whenever the shower was on causing a pool of water on the floor. The mattress was very old, worn and used. It was not comfortable and was very loud when barely even touching it. Everything just seemed very dirty and unclean.

It’s a standard, solid Candlewood, you know what to expect. Staff very helpful. Location is a little awkward to get to, but is close to lots of restaurants.

Was very disappointed at the lack of kindness and welcome when arriving. Reminded me of those typical movie scenes where a couple checks into a run-down motel and the desk person would rather be doing anything but checking them in. I only gave them a 2 vice 1 because the daytime person was friendly. I checked in on-line that afternoon hours before arrival. Never got confirmation the room was ready. Keys were not ready on arrival as is usual with online checkin. Never acknowledged I was an IHG member...even though I am Gold Elite...this stay makes me Platinum. Was given probably the worst room on the property. First room off the lobby immediately next to the elevator.....so lots of noise from the lobby and the elevator being next to the headboard. I guess it was maybe payback for being a US DOD traveler on orders. Thank goodness I brought a white noise machine...with it full blast I was almost able to drown out the elevator noise. The room was freshly painted...that was obvious by all the paint splatters on the kitchen floor sadly. I only gave them a 5 for flexibility because I was able to check in at 10pm...not really deserved since they had already charged my card anyway. Overall a very disappointing stay compared to my other IHG stays....very glad my wife was not traveling with me.
