Family friendly property

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The price is lower compared to other properties in the area. There is an extra charge if you’d like to eat breakfast there, but the breakfast selection is good. I loved being able to walk to the beach. Overall it was a good stay.

Great location on the beach

Rooms are good and comfortable a c worked good
negatives tiki bar closes at 6 pm
we had reserved for four people and only had 3 bath towels and 2 wash cloths and 2 hand towels
when we put in an early request for clean towels and other necessities they would not bring what was requested and all that was requested was never for more than 4 people. I understand changes were needed for covid but the guest need to have the option to go down and get what they need instead of waiting for hours for towels
Also can't really say they disinfected the room properly cause there was trash in drawers and a loaf of stink bread so if they miss this trash I can't say rooms are properly disinfected

Careful with the item you forgot behind

My daughter is accidentally forgot her electric tooth brush in the bathroom. And when we called back they said they didn't see it. We really sure it is in the bathroom. Unless the toothbrush has legs to move lol. Anyway, please double and triple check with all your belonging before you take off.

Felt ripped off at this Holiday Inn. A MOTEL would have been better and cleaner.
It was dirty, in bad shape, and not where you want to be in these covid times.

Staff was excellent from valet to front desk to bar and restaurant staff. Room maids were scarce and not that pleasant. Understand COVID but they can proactively bring items that are needed for extended stays even if left at door. Coffee, tp, trash bags, etc

Hotel Needs Update And Lots Of Repairs

This hotel needs several updates and repairs. The bedding had holes . The ac unit squeaked loudly as if it was going out. The bottom of the bathtub bubbled at the bottom. There was also a hump in the floor as if the foundation has shifted in the hotel. The rooms were not clean and had stains on the walls and on the wallpaper of the walls.

No clean room available after 3 hours of waiting

The worst experience I ever had with a hotel. I waited for a clean room after 3 hours I left to get another room. I had three tired kids with me. I tried to get a refund with IHG customer they told they have to contact the hotel. No one answers the phone at the hotel. The agent was not successful in getting my refund. She told me to go to the hotel, which is unacceptable. I shouldn’t go out of my way to get my refund. I am so over it. I need my money back!

Terrible service and dirty room

Check in staff was very rude and had no clue what they were doing. I had 2 rooms reserved and they insisted I only had 1 even after showing my confirmation. Finally found my 2nd room then was told by 1 staff my card had already been billed while the other staff member told me no it hadn’t. I got fed up and just told them bill whatever and I would sort it out later. They are also very unclear about the self parking process. Entry door to room was smudged with black grease like stains, room was dirty and bathroom was moldy. Windows were dirty with fingerprints. Hot spots were not cleaned / sanitized as you could still see ginger smudges.
