The Geelong Arts Centre exists to foster the artists and creative communities of Geelong, and to be the window through which our city can view the world's creative talent. Catch a screen play, musical, comedy or you might be attending an event. Whatever the purpose, you will find the Geelong Arts Centre conveniently located directly across the road form the hotel.

Geelong was once the wool centre of the world. Step into the National Wool Museum, housed in an 1872 bluestone woolstore to discover a timeless wool story, from the sheep's back to the clothes rack. Located a short 900 meter walk from the hotel.

Home to the Geelong Cats and only a short 10-minute walk from the hotel you will arrive at Kardinia Park. Enjoy a meal at Maestro before you head off & see your favourite team play or next big event.

Explore the beautiful Bellarine, a short 20-minute drive from the hotel. If you’re heading to the Bellarine Peninsula and love a glass of wine, you’re in for a treat! This region is filled with boutique vineyards that produce outstanding handcrafted cool-climate wines. Some of our favorites include: One Day Estate, Oakdene, Scotchmans Hill, Basils Farm, Jack Rabbit and Hounds of the Vine.

The Eastern foreshore is the place you want to be on a lazy weekend morning where you will find bustling markets, great coffee and plenty for the kids to see & do while you stroll along the embankment. However if you are wanting a little bit more of a stride in your step, grab some bikes and ride the Bay Trail which takes you right through Eastern Beach.
