Room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly! We stayed here before and will come back again! August 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Water and no explanation. Poor Custmer Service I regards to my recent stay at this hotel my experience was the worst I have had at any IHG Hotel. As I checked into my hotel Friday 7-24-2015 around 3 pm I was informed that the water had been turned off at the hotel. I was also advised that they would allow me to check in at the Hampton miles away for the same rate. As I explained my situation that I picked this hotel for the location as my wedding reception was right next door the lady became very frustrated and rude towards me telling me there is nothing she could do. I advised I would need to shower as I have a wedding rehearsal and it was very inconvenient that I could not do this. She became angry and my only option is to not check in. I advised this is not an option I have to check in and would try to find other arrangements to shower. She scoffed at me as if I had inconvenienced her. Excuse me, I am the guest that chose you for a service. Was told I would not be reimbursed any portion of my stay and handed my room keys. I was never greeted as an IHG member even though she showed me my points value, I was never asked if I would like points or a welcome gift just greeted with rudeness. The water turned on in the morning and I thought I was done, however, right as I was to shower for the wedding the next day the water turned off again. So let me sum this up for two very important moments I was not able to shower. I was very unimpressed with this Holiday Inn and cannot believe the customer service I received from someone in the hospitality industry. ***Will not connect to Customer Care or Contact Us*** July 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service in hotel, not restaurant. After booking, I got a call the day we were going to check in that our rooms had been double booked. We were asked to trade rooms for a cheaper price which we agreed. When we got to the hotel to check in their had been a water main break and there was no running water. They assured us it would be taken care of soon, and it was. They gave us food vouchers and water bottles. The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel is not actually about the hotel but the attached restaurant. First of all there were NO prices on the menu. That was ridiculous. We waited for a long time (with 4 children) to get our drinks, which didn't come so we finally asked them to forget it and told them we were leaving. The restaurant was not that busy. Not sure what the problem was. However, the breakfast buffet was much better the next morning and I noticed a supervisor or someone was there trying to fix problems. I thought the price was quite high but overall the hotel staff and actual hotel was great for us! July 29, 2015

It seemed like a lot to spend $30 for two adults (kids eat "free"). Aside from the breakfast, this was one of the best stays we have had. Not one issue! July 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel OK, Restaurant Needs Improvement Been a couple years since I stayed here. Restaurant now called Burger Theory. Had planned on eating dinner here. Googled name and saw four reviews. NONE were good. So I went to Jazz for Cajun. The next morning breakfast was in Burger Theory. Normally I order off menu but server said they have a buffet so I chose the buffet. First negative was the glass over the silver containers were too low. You couldn't open the lids fully to make them stay open without hitting the glass. I had to put the plate down in front of the container, hold the lid open with one hand and spoon out the food with the other hand. Server said there was a "coffee bar." Two containers of coffee, neither ID'd as regular or decaf. Couldn't find server so I went in the kitchen. Young guy, cook I think comes out and samples one of the coffees. Says "Decaf is supposed to taste more flat right?" I said "Not really." He points to one and says "that one' decaf" Server comes out and says "No they are both regular, I'll get you some decaf from the kitchen. When I sat down to eat the scrambled eggs were not hot. The bacon in the container had two slices of bread in the bottom to soak up the bacon grease I guess. Then when I got the bill it was the highest bill for any buffet of any Holiday Inn I stay at in the four states I cover. That was one of the reviews said about the burgers. The staff is very nice. Fitness Room is above average. Location is good for doing business downtown but they have some serious work to do on the restaurant. July 19, 2015
