Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and very nice hotel We stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami for 5 nights to run the Miami Marathon and decided to relocate to a hotel closer to the Ft Lauderdale Airport. Thank goodness! The beds were much more comfortable. The hotel was very clean and staff was awesome. Bonus was the amazing breakfast and free airport shuttle!!! Now we know what we will do every year from here on out! Added bonus... Had washers so we didnt go home with dirty laundry. February 8, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort, convenience and cleanliness My daughter was planning a small wedding on a cruise ship at near-by Port Everglades. She was looking for a place that was not too expensive for her wedding guests to stay. The group probably booked eight rooms total. The location was close to airport and the cruise-port. It offered a breakfast that turned out to be fabulous. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a late flight and we requested a later check-out, which was kindly granted. We also had special request because my wife was wheelchair-bound and we were given the wheelchair-access room, which was very nice. The only request for service that was not responded to was our inability to adjust the cooling in our room. Since we did not stay in the room long and our overall stay was short, it was only a very minor inconvenience. We are VERY glad we stayed there and would recommend it to anyone going to Fort Lauderdale. February 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient, clean place to stay Very convenient location at a reasonable price. Comfortable - not fancy - and the staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. One recommendation if you want to sleep late - ask for a room near the front of the hotel, as a freight train passes by the back of the hotel at around 4:30AM every morning and blows its' whistle. A minor inconvenience - and certainly not the hotel's fault, but could bother some people who can't fall back to sleep (and my room was at the very back of the hotel). February 5, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Spent the night after returning from a cruise on the Carnival Conquest. The hotel is immaculate. You can see the attention to detail and cleanliness as the staff works quietly in the background to maintain the upkeep of this site. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, especially Christopher at the front desk..He was able to help us with checking in earlier and storing our luggage until we could check in. He also provided us with information on good restaurants in the area. We followed his advice and went to Grampa"s for lunch. Both the food and staff were wonderful. Kudos to them I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I were in the area . My only concern would be with the surrounding neighborhood. It did seem rundown, and I am not sure that I would feel safe out and about after dark. February 4, 2016
