We stayed Friday to Sunday and were pleasantly surprised that we found the hotel quiet and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to relax and recover from the journey.

Freundliches Personal aber mittelprächtiges Gebäude und mageres Frühstück. Für London 'ganz ok', aber nicht mehr...

Room too small, dirty blanket and no air conditioning. Be ware this hotel is on a main road, however really handy for Pimlico tube.
Staff are all quite good, but the appearance of the whole hotel is just a little tired really.

Nice hotel in a quieter section of London. Close to Underground station at Pimlico serving the Victoria Line and in quick walking distance of Westminster Abbey and Parliament. We traveled with 7 people, 4 adults and 3 teens. Finding rooms that slept 4 was a challenge in London but this HI Express was able to accommodate. The free breakfast was good and was a nice benefit. The free WIFI was good and the speed was decent. Only downside was no air conditioning, though they did provide a fan for the room. Luckily the temperature in London wasn’t too hot so it wasn’t really a factor or annoyance. Staff was great and was always able to help if we needed something. I would recommend this location and hotel if you are traveling with family and want to stay within a budget. Book early!

London is very expensive and with the strength of the pound as compared to the US dollar only made the difference more significant.
The hotel was very clean and even though the room was small for 2 people it was manageable. There was no air conditioning in the room which could be a problem when temperatures in London exceed 80 degree F. For several nights the room temperature was 80 to 82 degree F. The large fan helped in making the room temperature manageable. If you travel in the summer to London this is it something you need to consider.
The breakfast and free internet was great and the hotel staff was very friendly.

We had two stays of 3 and 4 nights respectively over a month. First twin room in basement, dark, dingy, odd shape, bathroom awkward...corridor overly commercial scented ( probably to cover the old musty carpet)...Second room on second floor, double room, better shape and easy to negotiate bathroom, better light overall fresher room...still lots of street and road noise so a room at back would probably be quieter.( in summer you really need the window open as no air con...just a fan) Bit of a rabbit warren and a tiny slow lift.Good linen and housekeeping excellent. Breakfast included was quite basic, some improvement in the quality of the scrambled eggs would be good...
Second check in was way better than first with better info on internet etc provided. ( the girls were smilier and more informative than the guys on the front desk who seemed less helpful)
Location was fantastic, 3 minutes from tube, 10 minutes walk to Victoria and 24 Bus stop just a few steps from hotel for easy access everywhere. Restaurants, take aways, supermarkets all nearby towards Victoria. Would stay again if the value on the rate was good, but would check against other Victoria properties.
