We had requested a handicapped accessible room. The room was available when we made our reservations but on arrival the hotel had allowed another guest to overstay in the previously reserved room. They said that the other guest had been told at his check in that the room was not available for the nights of our reservation but the hotel failed to see that our reservation was honored. We have stayed in this hotel on 7 occasions for a total of over 20 nights in the last 7 months. Our request has been the same each time and this is the second time that they have messed up our reservations.
In all other respects our experiences at this hotel have been very good.

If you want a friendly, responsive staff, large and comfortably appointed room, and a great experience - stay at the Holiday Inn Express La Plata.
I've recommended we change our corporate account to Holiday Inn Express.

Very clean and quiet. The staff was very accommodating and eager to ensure that I was satisfied. Check in service was fast and efficient. Bathrooms were immaculate with no signs of wear, mold, cracks in tile(which as you can tell is a pet peeve with me about other hotels I have stayed in)

Very Nice Hotel. You need to make the Breakfast more appealing. The omelets, where to dry, they looked like rubber.
