my wife and i arrived late after a long day's activities and drive. we crashed as soon as our heads hit the pillows. after a restful night, we had the usual adequate breakfast, and checked out efficiently.

This was a 3 queen suite. Another full bath or a half bath would be very nice.

When required to remain in area for business, selected hotel due to close location to work, but was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and high maintenance of this facility. Spacious, well-appointed rooms with extremely clean bath rooms and linens made this overnight a relaxing mini-vacation. All the comforts of a resort stay while conducting business... could not be any better. Friendly courteous staff there to help. Great breakfast available in AM. Did not use swimming, business center, or fitness areas but they looked equally as well maintained. Had to overnight the following week and never considered another hotel. Stay here when in the area!

This was my first time staying @ this location. It was nice, clean and the staff was friendly. The shower was huge; bigger than I've ever seen before.

I have never written a negative review for any other IHG property I've visited. This particular experience was absolutely unacceptable. The front desk did acknowledge my IHG Rewards Club membership but offered no upgrade. After being politely provided with the hotel overview we went to our room. It looked like the typical room and appeared to be relatively clean. The bed mattress was very firm although any bed cover was missing. Overall this room appeared to be a below average room compared to other HIX properties. There was no channel guide available and the wireless internet was not secure (something the front desk was unaware of). None of these issues were anything to really complain about though. My biggest complaint was the roach problem and lack of concern from the front desk. As were laying in bed watching TV and preparing to go to sleep we noticed something scurrying up the wall. I got out of bed and hit it with my shoe killing it. I immediately went to the front desk to complain and showed her the dead roach. She casually tossed it in the waste basket and asked ' Well do you want another room? I said, 'Well, yes, of course and one without roaches if possible'. The room we were given looked identical but reaked of bug spray. I was going to return to the front desk to complain about the odor but it was very late and I decided that at least the bug problem had been acknowledged and they had made an attempt to resolve it. Although the bed was very comfortable we didn't sleep comfortably because of the odor. The next morning we went down for the express breakfast. I have to admit it was the one very favorable highlight of our stay. The food selection was excellent and the attendant in charge was very pleasant.

The ammenitites at the hotel were nice and the complimentary breakfast makes travel with kids much easier. Extended hours of the pool were much appreciated after a long trip. Would recommend that IHG members contact the hotel to confirm details of reservations to ensure the hotel can accomodate specific requests.

Enjoyed our stay, only thing that would have made it better would have been sunshine instead of rain. We still enjoyed a time away.
