Notre Dame Cathedral
A UNESCO heritage site. As proof of real technical genius, the Notre-Dame d'Amiens cathedral demonstrates architectural harmony. Built from 1220 to 1288, its size makes it one of the biggest Gothic buildings ever built. Its indoor and outdoor statues are just as remarkable as its architecture.
The Floating Gardens
The reason why French people call Amiens "the small Venice of the North". Just a stone's throw from the hotel and can be visited on foot or by boat!
The Remembrance Circuit is a blazed trail in the surroundings of Amiens. It follows the traces of the soldiers, featuring vestiges of fighting, cemeteries and memorials to commemorate WWI soldiers. It is peppered with poppies, the flower symbolising sacrifice & remembrance.
You can do the circuit either by car, bike or aeroplane.
