First stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Really appreciated the spaciousness of the room. I was traveling for work and could have used a little bigger desk but the lighting and outlet access was excellent. Bed was very comfortable and I intend to stay at this facility again.

Why so humid?

Upon checking in, we thought the room was extremely humid. We thought we could solve the problem by running the air conditioner. Wrong! For two nights the room was so humid that the bed covers and all paper in the room was soggy. We had to keep all belongings zipped up in our suitcases to prevent everything from getting completely soaked. The high humidity made being in the room very uncomfortable.

I don't know what the solution to this issue might be, but will have to be solved before I would return.

A vacation within a vacation

I was not intending to stop at a Holiday Inn before Breezewood but was not feeling well and sought the nearest Inn (Pittsburgh-North). I was very glad to be in the comfortable embrace of the bed (I bring my own pillow because the Inn pillows are enormous which is not conducive to comfort) and recovered from 2:30 pm until the next morning. The stillness was just what my body needed and I was on my way to Arlington, VA,, well rested, the next morning.

WE had to come into Harmarville unexpectedly at the last minute due to the death of a family member. Everything from Booking to the front desk staff, the staff who cleaned the room and the staff who operated the breakfast room were beyond wonderful.. Very friendly. Very helpful. It was such a welcome change. We told them that we will always stay there when we come up there.
