Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Okay place to stay We didn't have a bad stay, however our bathroom sink would stop-up and drain very slow. This is annoying to say the least and nasty! We were there just one night otherwise we would had to have changed rooms or have maintenance fix the bathroom. Breakfast was good and fresh and an employee was there to stock it and keep things cleaned up. July 29, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Third visit This was our third visit to this location. The breakfast attendant on the weekend does an outstanding job. She replaces any missing items promptly and inquires if there is anything you need. We were a bit disappointed in the service to our room. There was a piece of candy on the floor when we arrived and remained there our entire stay. We had to visit the lobby each day due to missing cups, missing bath mat, or missing coffee. One of the staff acted as though he didn't know what to do. The maintenance staff needs to visit rooms occasionally to tighten toilet seats and towel holders. July 23, 2015

The pool is in the shape of Texas and is really lovely. Service was great and the facility is in top notch condition. This was not our first time to stay here, we keep coming back because we enjoy the hotel. July 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hill Country Hotel is showing signs of age and neglect. Room was not very clean, tub and shower have lots of mold/mildew. Shower curtain has not been cleaned in long time, large places of mildew on it. 2nd day of cleaning, the bed was half made and pillows left on the couch. We have stayed here several times over the years, this was a disappointment for us to see the uncleanliness. Front desk staff was great as always, they make the reason we would return. The lady handling breakfast is extremely hyper, interrupting and wanting to take plates before you are finished. Main issue of concern is the uncleanliness of the bathroom, which would make you question the rest of the room. July 15, 2015
