When you are in Managua you must see the architectural beauty of Managua's Old Cathedral and the beautiful landscape at the Lake of Managua with Momotombo Volcano in the background. You can also see the different crafts; for example the famous Masaya hammocks, and black ceramics of the city of Leon. Most of these arts and crafts can be found in the markets of Managua.

When you are in Managua, you must visit the historical city center where you can find the National Palace of Culture which includes public places like art galleries, the National Museum and the National Film Archive; the Old Cathedral, Ruben Dario National Theatre where every week you can enjoy the different shows, and Salvador Allende Port right in front of Lake Managua coastline.

Don't go home without visiting the Historical center of Managua and if you have time, just 30 min away you will find the city of Masaya with its Masaya Volcano National Park and Mercado de Artesanías; as well as the colonial city of Granada where you will find the Lake of Nicaragua with its 365 famous "Isletas".
