Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Business trip Staying at the hotel was pretty good for the most part but there was a couple of things in the room that kind of grossed me out. One was a towel that had some kind of yellow stains on it. Not sure what it was but I just threw that one on the floor. The coffee pot already had water in it. Who knows how long that water had been there. Some small pieces of junk were left on the night stand and when I had come back from work, the bed was made and the room looked generally clean but I could tell that things had not even been swiped with a rag as the junk was still there. Also the first night I noticed that the bottle of lotion was half full, kind of indicating that the lotion may have been left from the last customer, gross. Made me glad that cups were wrapped. Other than that the sleeping was good. Very comfortable bed and pillows. January 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Initially cold room with pillows too firm; but nice breakfast. This is a comfy place with courteous staff. I've stayed there many times for work. It's hard to get into because you have to make an inconvenient U-turn to get to the driveway. I guess it is just too much to ask of a 3 star Hotel to have the room temperature preset comfortably. It was a cold night but when I arrived the AC was on in the room. Took a while to realize it and switch the heat on. It was OK after that. I can't find a good restaurant nearby. There's a ho-hum Mexican place that's OK. The [major restaurant chain beginning with Appl-] nearby is convenient but the food is over-spiced and the drinks over-priced. I find the pillows too firm and they don't have softer options. Best to bring your own. It took a very long time to get checked in. They used to have a Jacuzzi but they filled it in with a pile of rocks. There were pretty nice omelets for breakfast; but the bananas were too green to eat. I'm a Road Warrior staying for work. This hotel is convenient for me and I would stay again. January 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel with poor access The hotel and facilities were what you would expect for HIE. The staff was super helpful and very attentive to every request for assistance. The only draw back is the poor access. Ingress/egress to the property is only by traveling west on Hwy 22. West bound to enter, exit only to the west. There is a median preventing left turn if you are east bound requiring a U-turn in ofter heavy traffic. It get to be tedious when lot of coming and going is required. I am a business traveler that often stays for weeks at a time. Personally I will look for a hotel with easier access when I am in that area again. Having said all that, it is great property with most helpful staff. I recommend it over night travelers, but not for long term stays. December 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable and very cordial staff My stay at the HOLIDAY EXPRESS provided the most pleasant experience of relaxation and comfort for relieving my stress with its excellent accommodations and friendly staff. Even the free hot breakfast hit the spot to start my day! Thank you for fulfilling my needs. I would definitely stay again and recommend HOIDAY EXPRESS to others. December 7, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs Deep Cleaned This was the 1st Holiday Inn Express that I have been disappointed in.The Staff however are very nice and very professional. This is an ownership problem.I had to be moved from my original room because of stained bed sheets dirty stained curtains and even the lamp shade was stained.Add the musty smell the room had and there you go ! .My next room had all the same problems minus the bed sheet issue. Both rooms smell like dirty socks. The owners of this hotel are obviously to cheep to do what it takes to maintain a clean hotel. I don't recommend staying here at this time. November 28, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Oct. Business Trip I have always enjoyed staying at the Holiday INNS and they are always convienently located where I need them during my Business Travels. Thanks You :) November 23, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tear it down and start over. Other than the staff being super polite, there's not much of a reason to stay at this hotel. In the morning while having breakfast, the attendant was very interested in a phone conversation I was trying have. She almost broke out her note pad and started taking shorthand. The walls on the second floor seemed paper thin and with people slamming doors up and down the hallway all night, I didn't get much sleep. The bathroom needs a good grout cleaning. The drywall ceilings in the hallway on the second floor were falling down and had been poorly repaired. Upon arriving at the joint, the lobby smelled like there had been a fresh raw sewage spill. The smell was just strong enough to make me want to throw up. This was by far the worst holiday Inn express I've ever stayed at. Oh, well live and learn. November 23, 2015
