Shenyang Zhao Mausoleum of Qing Dynasty, the mausoleum of Emperor Huangtaiji of Qing Dynasty and his wife Empress Boerjijite is surrounded by acres of pine trees. It was built in 1643. It is also called Beiling. This is the largest, the grandest and the best preserved imperial mausoleum of the three mausoleums outside Shanhaiguan Pass. Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum located in the center of Shenyang and founded in 1625, it is the palace where built and lived by Nurhachi and Huang Taiji. It consists of more than 100 buildings and coversan area of 60,000 aquare meters as the earliest Qing Dynasty palace buildings complex that is preserved well till now. It is known as the " Forbidden City" out of Shanhai Pass. It was listed in the World Cultural Heritage in July 2004.

The area is 48.64 square Kilometers, consists of "Three hills one lake" natural landscape, the "Three hills" are Huishan Hill, Chessboard Mountain, Dayang Hill, the "one lake"is Xiu Lake. There are not only the unique natural scenery, but also many historical and cultural sites and legends, such as Xiangyang Temple, Koguryo mountain , Nantianmen, Fairy Cave, Dianjiang Tai, the Mother Rock etc.
