Take a self-guided walk to see the 33 Memory Stones that circle the area and tell the history of it via inscribed poetic messages, then watch the sunset. Another local favourite is walking the White Rock Pier then enjoying a snack or meal at one of the many eateries along the waterfront.

If you don't want to deal with the big city traffic and parking fees you can leave your vehicle parked at the hotel for free and hop on the local transit to explore the area. The bus stop for the 501 bus is located directly across the street and will take you to SkyTrain, the monorail system that covers much of Metro Vancouver. On your return that bus will stop directly in front of the hotel.
