The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver explores the art and culture of our time through rotating exhibitions and public educational programs. Featuring regional, national and international artists, MCA Denver offers a wide range of exhibitions promoting creative experimentation with art and ideas. Ball Arena is home to the Denver Nuggets NBA basketball team, Colorado Avalanche NHL Hockey team and Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse. Denver's Union Station boasts an eclectic array of the city's top restaurants, bars and shops in addition to the RTD Station which serves as a conduit for passengers from Westminster, Wheat Ridge, Denver International Airport and much more. Greyhound Bus Station and Amtrak are also located within Union Station.

The 16th Street Mall is a pedestrian and transit only stretch through the heart of Denver Downtown. The mall runs along 16th Street in downtown Denver, from Wewatta Street (at Union Station) to the intersection of 16th Avenue and Broadway (at Civic Center Station) and is packed with shopping, restaurants and attractions. During the summer take part in an outoor chess game, stand up piano's free to play and multiple food trucks which cater to every palate.
