Located 30 minutes from the Louisville International Airport (SDF), the hotel is located on the grounds of Fort Knox. Fort Knox is a certified Kentucky city, covering 108,955 acres in three Kentucky (Hardin, Meade and Bullitt) counties. Fort Knox is the home of the General George Patton Museum which is open year round. The U.S. Department of Treasury's Kentucky Bullion Depository is located adjacent to Fort Knox; however, it is closed to visitors.
