A pleasant location to stay, great view, friendly reception staff, bar and breakfast. Located in center of Mid Town and connecting services such as the Martha which takes to and from the hotel almost opposite the hotel.
The hotel does need modernising in the rooms, breakfast food quality is ok, but found it’s not clear where you can sit or what specifically you can do. Cutlery kept running out and had to use plastic knife and folks. The breakfast room was cold. The bar is cash old, but did service good food.
I found many people try to work out how to use the lift with room card swiping being required to select your floor but need to be done in a particular way.
All in all a nice hotel, with spacious rooms and a self check out shop for snacks, you can be well fed before leaving, and comfortable seating if waiting in the lounge.

It was a terrible experience. My issue is still trying to get a bill for my stay. This was a business trip and my company has to have a receipt in order for me to get reimbursed. Their printer was not working so they said they would email the receipt.
I have called the Hotel over a dozen times and only twice they answered promising to email the receipt.
I called you're help desk twice in 4 days and they gave me reference numbers for each call I made Case # 10471495514, Case number 10578194703
I still do not have a receipt.

This place is a sinking ship and the staff and management are doing their best to keep it afloat. We learned during our stay that the building has been purchased by Marriott, who will be completely gutting and rebuilding it. Given how many things are broken, worn out, or imbued with grim to the point they can only be replaced, this seems like a wise decision. I lucked out and had a better room and even then the HVAC only heated it to 69, the tub wouldn't drain, and the caulk, carpets, sofa, and grout were gross and a lot of things were functional but needed minor repairs or replacement. My colleagues had stories of no hot water, cockroaches, strong mildew smells, mold, etc.
All of the staff were excellent--particularly the one bar tender. No complaints there.

Mr Andrew, who was at the front desk, took the lead of accommodating me at a very short notice, he was able to provide me a room during the time that there was conflict with my booking, despite the numerous people in line at that time, he made it possible, big thanks to him to all of your staff,

Was a little disappointed in this stay. No hot water first night of stay. Hotel is very old and rundown looking. Shower backed up on the second night. Dishes were in the cabinet dirty. Then had additional fee for parking. Never paid for parking at any other hotel. Don't think I'll be staying here again.

Imagine a long day of travel to attend a conference. You finally get to the hotel after 10PM. You have to wait in a long line to check in. You find out that even though you get 2 keys for everyone in your room, everyone needs to come down together to make use of the free breakfast coupon. You are charged a $75 PER NIGHT fee for "incidentals."
You get to your room and find that the lights don't turn on. You call the front desk by pushing "front desk" on the hotel's phone. You keep being directed to reservations. They finally give you a number to call directly. You call and are on hold for 15 min. You decide it may be quicker to go down there, so you hedge your bets by staying on the phone. There is still a long line. The night shift starts and a staff person comes. She answers the phone while you are still standing in line and moves you to another room.
You move all your stuff only to see that the new one is dirtier. Neither wifi access code works. The kitchen has no cups.
The next morning, you try to take a hit shower before your pre-conference workshop. You get no hot water. NONE.
To manage the breakfast policy, you try to get breakfast at the cafe (at your expense) so your roommate can slerp in and use the coupon later. But find the cafe closed.
Having 3 days left, you call about the hot water and are on hold for 15 min. You are told management will call you back. They never do.
When housekeeping comes, you ask for more towels. They say that they have none and they don't bring any later.
When you present at your session, water drips on you from the ceiling.
When you check out, you complain about all of the above and one night of your 4 night stay is taken off. You find out that others had half their stay taken off.

I was recently visiting Atlanta for a very large conference and this was one of the contracted hotels. What is usually a great selection of hotels by the conference planning team was a huge disappointment for including the Staybridge Suites Midtown. The lobby was nice looking but once you stepped off the elevators onto the hallway floors, it may as well been a slum. The carpet was awful, dingy, torn and disgusting. It looked like it had not been vacuumed in weeks. The hallway walls had holes and missing paint. My room was about the same as the hallway. My room door looked like it had been kicked in and it could easily be opened about 1" in the door jam before catching the locking mechanism. When exiting my room, I had to yank hard to close the door, but I could still push it back in towards the room. Inside the room, the bottom boxspring mattress was broken and severely sagging in the middle on the side of the bed. The top mattress felt like it had not been replaced in 20-30 years and very squeaky. The pillowcases had stains on them. The thermostat did not work, and the room stayed between 75-78 degrees despite the temperature being set to 68. The unit would begin cooling and then shut off. The bathroom did not have a complete set of towels. There was no bathmat after stepping out of the shower tub creating a significant safety/fall risk on the tile floor. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and my room was only serviced twice. The first time it was serviced, the dirty towels were taken but not replenished. After the second servicing, I had to ask for clean towels from the front desk. In comparison to others in my travel group, my room was one of the better ones. One peer had a room with no electricity and another one did not have bedding. For the hotel breakfast area, the floor also looked like it had not been vacuumed in a while. The fridge where juice, milk, and creamer were kept looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The only good thing was the selection of breakfast food. I do NOT recommend staying at this hotel.

This might be the poorest hotel to date. The staff was rude, hotel had no hot water and the location to the highway and hospital made it very loud. This hotel is also very worn and dated.

I will not recommend, poor service from staff the hotel staff assigned at the breakfast area was very rude and lazy , the hotel is dirty.

This hotel was not good. It did not have any towels for guests. Most of the time the key cards did not work for our doors. The staff at the front desk was not friendly, and at times, rude. My room had a broken light on the bathroom wall as well as fayed carpet. The carpet in the hall ways was stained and needed vacuuming.
