Clean facilities, room, bathroom. Very comfortable bedding. I always slept great. Breakfast was included and delicious. Enjoyed the coffee every morning. Housekeeping didn't care for the room over four days. The pool needed some cleaning along the edges.

I don't usually give a property five stars. I'm in a property maintenance field and I couldn't find anything wrong with my room. Yeah well it was the first time I've been to the town of LaPorte and the hotel is in a perfect spot right across the street from the water. The staff I talked to didn't mind me asking them questions about the area and whatnot, just a great property.
LaPorte Indiana - Great Place to Rest and Relax

After playing a round of golf and then dinner at the Heston Supper Club, I stayed at the LaPorte, Indiana Holiday Inn Express. The room I booked had a sitting area, 2 queen beds, a separate room with a king bed, and a microwave and small refrigerator. The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. I was able to relax, watch the hockey game, get a good night's sleep, and a good breakfast in the morning. My next stop was Plymouth, Indiana for an extended golf trip and it was only about an hour from the LaPorte Holiday Inn Express. Great staff, great room, great breakfast and for this trip, close to my next destination. Thanks Holiday Inn Express LaPorte for a wonderful experience.

A lovely hotel with excellent customer service and great breakfasts. There is a pretty lake right across the road where you can enjoy a pleasant walk. Thanks for a wonderful visit!
Functional designed room

The room was the most functional designed room I’ve been in
There were hooks for coats, a big bench for luggage, a mirror outside of bathroom, the coffee machine was in a good location(not in the middle of the room) and the room was very spacious for 3 people

Very good hotel that is clean and friendly staff. We were impressed. Bacon could be at breakfast for more Holiday Inns but that’s just being overly picky.
HVAC sensors

My room had sensors for the AC to come on. This is fine when you’re not in the room, but when you’re sleeping, you need the AC to come on. Three nights of bad sleep due to the room being hot. I’ve been a regular customer at this hotel, 4 to 5 times a year. Not anymore.
Need major work/help with housekeeping.

Checked in to a dirty room, tub did not hold water. Tried to pull drain and it was full of hair. Sink had a massive crack in it. Room itself was dirty as well. Told front desk and showed pictures. He just said he’d switch us rooms and gave us a room right next door. Same layout, same dirtiness. No customer service, no apologizes, nothing to help the situation. Very disappointing.

We had a family gathering in the La Porte for a volleyball tournament. We could not be more pleased with checkin and services with Brandon and colleagues, very clean accommodations and all you could want for breakfast. We had kids of all ages so the pool was perfect!

Brendon is the night desk manager. He has always gone out of his way to accommodate me and my staff. He has personally made sure my superintendent who has a bad back stays on the first floor to minimize his walking. He has responded immediately to any issues and repairs. I have never had a hotel employee work so hard to ensure our satisfaction. Steve

It was a lovely hotel with even friendlier staff. The stay was very convenient and enjoyable. I highly recommend this property.
