Things to do
The Perfect Day

As dawn breaks, take a stroll along the palm-fringed Corniche and watch the morning sun slowly bathe the city in light. You can then enjoy breakfast at one of the many cafés located along the Corniche. After your refreshing start, head to Al Rashed Mall, the biggest and most modern mall in Saudi Arabia, for an extravagant shopping experience. The variety and choice of shops and brands is certain to delight the most seasoned shoppers.

Visit the Heritage Village, probably one of the greatest traditional museums in Saudi Arabia. The treasures found there are amazing and give a fascinating insight into Islamic history, science and invention as well as Bedouin culture. There are even artefacts dating back to the Stone Age. You can enjoy a late lunch at the adjoining restaurant which serves delicious, traditional Saudi dishes. Afterwards, proceed to the traditional Saudi Souk on the second floor for a little light afternoon shopping.

In the evening as the sun sets and the temperature drops, enjoy a relaxing dinner at Sanbouk, a delightful restaurant on the Corniche serving freshly caught fish and seafood - all beautifully prepared and presented. Be sure to get a table overlooking the Arabian Gulf so you can sit back, relax and feel the stress of the day fade away.
